Sustainability is one of the priorities, along with digitization, for socioeconomic development toward Veneto 2030.
The improvement and development of skills and education and training systems are necessary to have new professionals capable of meeting the new challenges posed by the transition to a smarter, greener Europe.
The supply chains of the Textile, Clothing and Fashion are moving in this direction, equipping themselves with the knowledge and of the capacity needed to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the new technologies and at the same time enhancing the know-how of traditional craftsmanship, giving new life to ancient processes that are in danger of being lost and are, instead, precious baggage of Made in Italy and in Veneto.
The “made in” effect and the opportunities of digital are thus among the most important drivers for giving new impetus to local production and credibly promoting innovative business models with reduced environmental impact.
In this meeting we will ask how to promote pathways to adapt, improve and retrain skills that can better meet the demands of the labor market and create new opportunities for all.
